The IWC Pilot’s Watch Double Chronograph Top Gun Ceratanium (ref. IW371815) introduced a new material direction for the brand in 2018. Its 44mm case is rendered in Ceratanium – IWC’s proprietary alloy that fuses the lightness of titanium with the scratch-resistance of ceramic – resulting in a stealthy matte-black finish that extends to the pushers, crown, and caseback.

Beneath the anti-reflective sapphire crystal lies a black dial with crisp white Arabic numerals and red accents. The watch is powered by the self-winding calibre 79230, based on the Valjoux 7750 architecture and upgraded with a rattrapante (split-seconds) chronograph function – a rarity in pilot’s watches. Water-resistant to 60m, it offers a power reserve of 44 hours and pairs with a black textile strap to complete the tactical aesthetic.
