Its matte black finish extends across case, pushers, crown, and bracelet – all rendered in the brand’s proprietary Ceratanium, a titanium alloy hardened to ceramic-like surface properties while retaining the lightness of metal.

Measuring 41mm across, the case houses IWC’s calibre 69385 – a column-wheel chronograph movement with 46 hours of power reserve. The black dial features luminescent Arabic numerals, day-date display at 3 o’clock, and red accents on the running seconds hand and totalisers, balancing legibility with edge. Water-resistant to 100 m and capped by a sapphire crystal secured against drops in air pressure, the reference is flight-ready in both design and engineering.
