Hisui:翡翠 draws its inspiration from a precious gem of natural jadeite found on the coasts of Itoigawa. This coastal region is renowned for its exquisite white-green Itoigawa jade, also known as ‘hisui,’ which holds a special place in Japan’s cultural heritage. For over 7,000 years, the people of Japan have treasured this unique jade, and it has been exclusively used in various forms since the ancient Jomon period. Due to strict regulations prohibiting domestic jade mining, Itoigawa jade can only be discovered as loose stones, gently carried by mountain streams, and deposited onto the serene pebble beaches of the Jade Coast. Powering this exceptional timepiece is a high-performance calibre NE86, capable of approximately 45 hours of power reserve and 30m of water resistance. Presented on a black calfskin leather strap, the watch exudes elegance and comfort for daily wear.
